Jumping Between Fields

This tip applies to Word 97, 2000, 2002, and 2003


If you use fields in your documents, there may be times when you want to select the fields quickly. Word provides a way you can do this using two handy shortcut keys:

  • To jump forward to the next field in your document, press F11.
  • To jump backwards to the previous field in your document, press Shift+F11.
