Determining How Many Windows are Open with WordBasic

Summary: For your WordBasic macro to work properly, you may need to determine how many document windows are open. (This tip works with Microsoft Word 6, and Word 95.)

It is sometimes helpful for your macro to know how many document windows are open at any given time. You can determine the number of open windows by using the following WordBasic code:

X = CountWindows

After executing the line, X is equal to the number of open windows.
